THE MAZE RUNNER by James Dashner
Wow. Just wow. At first I didn't think I would get into this book, but I'm absolutely hooked.
The story is based around a boy named Thomas who waked up with no memories. All he knows is how the world works and his name. When he wakes up he finds himself in the Glade with about 50 other guys who can't remember anything either. All they know is that the want to go home. And solving the Maze is the way out. Then a girl shows up. And everything changes.
Dashner defiantly knows how to write. I mean, the last sentence of each chapter urges you on to the next. It was so difficult to put it down. You just want to know what happens next. You think you know what's going to happening, and in some parts you do, but in others, you're thrown for a loop. You never saw that coming.
Absolutely amazing. Until you reach the last chapter. You find those four little words.
END OF BOOK ONE
Now you have to wait for the next one. And I so can't wait. The ending is a huge cliff hanger.
Anyone whose into this kind of story or any SciFi-Fantasy-Fiction-Type book should deffinatlty read The Maze Runner.
