THE MAZE RUNNER by James Dashner
Wow. Just wow. At first I didn't think I would get into this book, but I'm absolutely hooked.
The story is based around a boy named Thomas who waked up with no memories. All he knows is how the world works and his name. When he wakes up he finds himself in the Glade with about 50 other guys who can't remember anything either. All they know is that the want to go home. And solving the Maze is the way out. Then a girl shows up. And everything changes.
Dashner defiantly knows how to write. I mean, the last sentence of each chapter urges you on to the next. It was so difficult to put it down. You just want to know what happens next. You think you know what's going to happening, and in some parts you do, but in others, you're thrown for a loop. You never saw that coming.
Absolutely amazing. Until you reach the last chapter. You find those four little words.
END OF BOOK ONE
Now you have to wait for the next one. And I so can't wait. The ending is a huge cliff hanger.
Anyone whose into this kind of story or any SciFi-Fantasy-Fiction-Type book should deffinatlty read The Maze Runner.

Restoring Harmony by: Joëlle Anthony
Molly is sixteen and living an post-fossil fuel dystopia when she goes on an intercontinental mission to save her family.
While this is not the best book I have ever read, since Forest Born it is the first one that's been good enough for me to bother finishing. It's two major downfalls are it's apparent disregard of one of the first laws of physics, and the somewhat forced romance. That said, the characters are fairly solid, and the plot, though not the most original, is cohesive.

HOLD STILL by Nina LaCour
An amazing slice of life. Just amazing.
A girl loses her best friend to suicide, but her friend leaves her journal behind.
I can't really say anything more than that. This beautifully written story breaks your heart and and puts it back together again, maybe forgetting a piece or too. Either way, you never know what you've got until it's gone.
It's an absolutely amazing book. I have nothing more to say. You just need to read it to know what I'm talking about.
